Q & A: Female Period Regulation

Question:

My 12 year old daughter is needing to have her period regulate – you had suggested Women’s Formula quite a while ago, but she didn’t want to take pills. Now she is ready. How many should she do?

Answer:

For a 12 yr. old, I would start with Female Comfort (US)  4/day for 1 month, (2×2) then if not getting desired results , increase to 2 x3, (or 3X2 if this is too difficult timing wise) until regulation starts. Once you have regulation – from 25 – 33 days for one or two months, then decrease to 4/day. After a few months, 2/day may be effective. Each woman is different.

Whenever there is extreme dysmenorrhea, i.e. pain, cramping, excess bleeding, I suggest starting with 6/day, then once one or 2 periods are better, once can decrease to 4/day.

Some women will take 2-3/day until 1 week before period, then increase to 6/day for  the last week to have a trouble free menses.  FYI: This also works very well for peri-menopause.

Periods should not be painful, exhausting, or  otherwise difficult when hormones are balanced. If her condition does not balance out within a few months, please get back to me, as there are several options and other solutions.

Of course, nutritional diet, good bowel movement, exercise, plenty of water, no sugar, stress reduction; all the things clearly explained in my Paw Paw Program book, are important, no matter what the condition.
