Pets tend to harbour less species, but some of the more devastating ones are transferable to humans. Perhaps this is why most people are more conscientious about parasite treatment for their house pets than for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Parasites are any\u00a0 ranging from microscopic size to meters in length. They cause health challenges in 3 main ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>they eat, stealing nutrition from their host<\/li>\n<li>they reproduce, often in terrific numbers<\/li>\n<li>they secrete toxins, which cause a host of toxic challenges for the host<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fairly common in North America are roundworms, or ascarids that grow up to six inches in length in pets and up to one foot in humans; pin worms; whip worms, tape worms, guardia, lyme, candida, yeast, fungus&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Some good prevention tips are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>avoid touching feces of pets and humans<\/li>\n<li>wash hands\u00a0 frequently<\/li>\n<li>avoid eating raw meat and fish<\/li>\n<li>ensure healthy digestive system &#8211; if you are over 30 yrs. of age digestive enzymes are usually required<\/li>\n<li>clean intestines: probiotics, adequate fibre and regular bowel movements,<\/li>\n<li>protect yourself from biting insects, such as mosquitoes and ticks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For years it was thought that parasites were only a problem in tropical countries. We&#8217;ve had clients with worms, Guardia lamblia, Amoebic dysentery to mention a few, never having left their home town.<\/p>\n<p>Anti parasitic herbs have been used worldwide for millennium. Do this each time during the days between Para Pak. You can stop probiotics while doing the next set of <strong>Para Pak<\/strong>.<em> Keep either of these pre and probiotic blends in the fridge or freezer after opening bottle<\/em>. Drink hot water \u2013 at least 2 \u2013 4 cups a day \u2013 you can add <strong>Liquid <a title=\"Chlorophyll\" href=\"https:\/\/www.naturessunshine.com\/product\/chlorophyll-es-liquid\/?referrer=1143615\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chlorophyll<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During this process, change bedding often and\u00a0 underwear daily.\u00a0 Wash hands frequently and for certain after using the washroom \u2013 avoid fingers in the mouth, eyes and nose.\u00a0 If you have pets, wash your hands after handling them.\u00a0 It is a good idea to have your pets do a parasite cleanse as well, as this may be your source of contamination<strong>.\u00a0 Herbal Pumpkin Worm Balls<\/strong> and <strong>Black Walnut<\/strong> are two herbs that will help with this process ongoing,\u00a0 Contact our office for more information, or for other uses of herbs to keep your pets healthy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional aid <\/strong>&#8211; You can help the process by inserting crushed raw garlic directly into the colon with a syringe. Blend 2 cloves of garlic in \u00bd cup warm water.\u00a0 Alternately crush garlic if no blender. In fetal position insert with bulb syringe. \u00a0Hold as long as you can.\u00a0 This is an excellent expellant when tape worms are present.\u00a0 You may experience a slight temporary burning sensation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pamper Foods for the Colon and Intestine<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Raw Steel Cut Oatmeal &amp; blueberries or grated apple or banana. <\/strong>Mix \u00bc cup with yogurt and blueberries or grated apple.\u00a0 This is an ideal breakfast which will help promote colon health (a gentle fibre) and clean blood plasma.\u00a0 You may consider a sprinkling of ground flaxseed, <strong><em>Flax Hull Lignans<\/em><\/strong>, or hemp \u2013 a very good idea.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Boiled Rice Soup<\/strong>\u2014<strong>or \u201cCongee\u201d<\/strong> &#8211; Method: \u00bd cup small grain rice in a large pot \u2013 stir in 1 tablespoon olive oil with a little sea salt.\u00a0 Mix well.\u00a0 Add 2 \u2013 3 cups of water and allow to simmer for an hour or more, stirring often and adding more water when needed until you have a thick, soupy mixture.\u00a0 You may add blueberries with maple syrup and use as a morning food, or use plain anytime of day with vegetables.\u00a0 This is a good food once a day when doing a body or parasite cleanse, softening and making it easier to eliminate adhered debris in the intestines.\u00a0 Parasites do not like this consistency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oatmeal Drink <\/strong>\u2013 Make a thick oatmeal drink by cooking \u00bd cup oatmeal in 2 cups or more boiling water with a little sea salt.\u00a0 Allow to boil on medium heat for 15 minutes or more and then strain the oats out.\u00a0 Drink this thick fluid.\u00a0 If you need, add some stevia or Xylitol as sweetener.
