This condition has become so common that a new disease has been created: Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease<\/b> (GERD). <\/b>\u00a0This is a digestive disorder that occurs when acidic stomach juices, or food and fluids back up from the stomach into the esophagus. GERD<\/b>\u00a0affects people of all ages\u2014from infants to older adults. People with asthma are at higher risk of developing\u00a0GERD<\/b>. <\/em><\/p>\n

As products are added or reformulated to continue to meet clients’ needs; supply of quality raw materials; and\u00a0 maintain all countries’ regulatory\u00a0 demands, products may be different or have different names. The basic solutions for this condition remain the same as they were when I started in ther natural health field the late 70’s, as they were in 2009 when this was my first article posted, and will be in 2040.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

A client, Bob, was diagnosed with acid reflux. The acid reflux caused very painful burning within the stomach and\u00a0 was so bad that it would creep up into his chest causing “heartburn” and sometimes into his throat causing a sore throat.<\/p>\n

He had used every possible medication that was available.\u00a0In the beginning the medication\u00a0 eased the pain, but after awhile it\u00a0did not work.\u00a0 The burning made him feel miserable and sick.\u00a0 \u00a0He lost energy and did not sleep well.<\/p>\n

This process continued\u00a0for 5 years.<\/p>\n

He met Lorene Benoit and attended one of her information classes.\u00a0 \u00a0He decided to start a program of Chinese Mineral Chi Tonic<\/strong><\/a> 2 oz a day, ULC- R<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in CA \/\u00a0Gastro Health<\/a> <\/strong>\u00a0in US – 2 with 2 meals, and 2 at bed time, All Cell Detox<\/strong><\/a> 4 at bedtime, and Pea Protein <\/b><\/a>1 scoop a day in a shake.<\/p>\n

He took the wheat, the sugar the yeast out of his diet. Within 2 weeks all burning subsided and\u00a0 has not returned. \u00a0He says he\u00a0 eats and sleeps a lot\u00a0better and his energy has returned.\u00a0He is so very grateful to the Nature’s Sunshine program.<\/p>\n

Phamaceuticals that decrease stomach acid (antacids or acid blockers) do nothing to address the underlying cause, and in the long term, will increase problems.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n
