Coffee Enemas

 

Coffee enemas have been used for pain relief since WW I, when pain medication was in short supply.  They have been part of Dr. Gerson’s cancer therapy since 1928. Research has since shown that coffee enemas help activate the liver’s defenses, plus open the bile duct so the liver can release accumulated poisons. As a bitter, coffee also helps stimulate the bowel, which can then eliminate toxins. Daily bowel movements 2- 3 times per day ensures that toxins do not accumulate and reabsorb from the bowel into the bloodstream.

As one heals the body through proper nutrition and flooding the body with the needed vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and immune building herbs, the body will begin to detoxify. This  healing helps the body increase apoptosis, or die off of renegade cells, malignant cells and tumours. Coffee enemas can aid this process. This is one protocol mentioned on page 70 of  The Paw Paw Program – The “Christopher Columbus” Approach to Cancer – The World IS Round and Cancer CAN Be Treated Naturally.

Because coffee enemas help  relieve pain, they are often recommended for conditions such as headaches, including migraines, arthritis, fevers, the flu and colds. The elimination of toxins  help the liver restore, rebuild and heal.

Enemas are a fast way to help cleanse the body during any illness. They should not be uncomfortable; take your time and massage that most important organ of your body to enhance the benefits.

How to do a thorough coffee enema, or colema,  is clearing outlined in Dr. Jensen’s “Tissue Cleansing Through Bowel Management”, a hallmark book for understanding colon health and cleansing.  Many websites also detail how to give an enema safely. An enema bag can be purchased inexpensively at any pharmacy. It looks like a hot water bottle with one open end, a hose, nozzle and clip to control flow. If you have any standard hot water bottle, you can also just purchase an attachment kit. For infants and small children you can use a bulb syringe.

There are many other enemas that offer healing properties:

Catnip or yarrow enema for bringing down a fever to a safe temperature, so it can continue to do its healing work of burning out unwanted microbes. A tepid water enema can also be useful for controlling fever.

Garlic enema for parasites. If temperature is close to body temperature, this enema can be retained 15 minutes for greater effect.

Hydrated Bentonite enema for cleansing and healing.

Aloe Vera Gel enema for irritated colon and healing after color-rectal radiation.

Safety & Effectiveness of MMR and Flu Vaccines ?

The more that evidence points towards the ineffectiveness and dangers of vaccines, the more public health authorities seem to be forcing them upon the public. One has to question this and demand answers from our  “health” providers and law makers who negligently consider only biased  research  funded by the pharmaceuticals.

Vaccine packaging says a person receiving a vaccination should “avoid contact with immune-compromised individuals” for about 3 weeks following the flu shot.  Does this happen in hospital and health care facilities? Workers are often given the shot AT WORK, and it is fairly safe to say that if they are working in a hospital, or senior care home, OR homecare, they ARE working with immune-compromised individuals. How can you tell, on a crowded subway?  Or even in your own family?  Or at school that a vaccinated person is not actively spreading the disease?

Two more studies that should give YOU cause for pause and questions are listed here.

Excerpts from this study concerning MMR:  The Lancet, Volume 351, Number 9103, 28 February 1998:

In eight children, the onset of behavioural problems had been linked, either by the parents or by the child’s physician, with MMR: measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination. Five had had an early adverse reaction to immunization (rash, fever, delirium; and, in three cases, convulsions). In these eight children the average interval from exposure to first behavioural symptoms was 6·3 days (range 1-14).

We have identified a chronic enterocolitis in children that may be related to neuropsychiatric dysfunction. In most cases, onset of symptoms was after measles, mumps, and rubella immunisation. Further investigations are needed to examine this syndrome and its possible relation to this vaccine.

Over 200 viruses cause influenza and influenza-like illness which produce the same symptoms (fever, headache, aches and pains, cough and runny noses). Without laboratory tests, doctors cannot tell the two illnesses apart. Both last for days and rarely lead to death or serious illness. At best, vaccines might be effective against only influenza A and B, which represent about 10% of all circulating viruses. Each year, the World Health Organization recommends which viral strains should be included in vaccinations for the forthcoming season.

Authors of this review assessed all trials that compared vaccinated people with unvaccinated people. The combined results of these trials showed that under ideal conditions (vaccine completely matching circulating viral configuration) 33 healthy adults need to be vaccinated to avoid one set of influenza symptoms. In average conditions (partially matching vaccine) 100 people need to be vaccinated to avoid one set of influenza symptoms. Vaccine use did not affect the number of people hospitalised or working days lost but caused one case of Guillian-Barré syndrome (a major neurological condition leading to paralysis) for every one million vaccinations. Fifteen of the 36 trials were funded by vaccine companies and four had no funding declaration. Our results may be an optimistic estimate because company-sponsored influenza vaccines trials tend to produce results favorable to their products and some of the evidence comes from trials carried out in ideal viral circulation and matching conditions and because the harms evidence base is limited.

Safe Alternatives to Vaccines

Why would one take the chance on vaccination side effects, when research has shown that the best prevention of contagious disease transmission is good hand washing (with no side effects). Other exceptionally safe and effective prevention tips:

Success with Tei Fu Oil

As we were  sunning ourselves on a  beautiful Mexican beach, we saw a woman throw herself off a passing boat, followed shortly by her young son jumping in. As she pulled her gasping self up on the sand, her body green like an iguana, her son said she was ready to die with severe motion sickness. Safe Vaccine Alternatives

Take responsibility to create better health for you and all loved ones!

The first and most important thing to say about vaccination is you don’t have to do it.

The fact is it wouldn’t occur to a lot of us to even investigate vaccinations, particularly before we experience contraindications. More recently, however, there are more and more people taking responsibility for their health. You may find the following material conflicts with messages you have been given from the allopathic medical field. Statistics are often misrepresented by inaccurate reporting and recording; making it difficult to know the truth.

The intent of this information is to remind you that you are responsible for your own health. Secondly, it is to remind you that you are more of an expert on the subject of your self and your body than any other person or group of people – it is your decision as to what is best for you. The point is you have the right and the responsibility to determine your own action.

For those new to the concept that it is your decision whether or not to vaccinate, please be aware that The Exemption for Conscience was passed on December 14, 1984. Previous to this, mandatory vaccination was practiced in Canada. Although today it is no longer mandatory to have your children vaccinated, “social marketing” is the means of imposing vaccination. The selling of an idea to the point that it becomes your own idea, even if it goes against your conscience, is what social marketing is about.

 

All drugs, prescription or over the counter, have some toxic side effects. Herbs have thousands of years use as safe, natural and effective!  Herbs have been used since the birth of humankind and still stand the test of time.

 

For a Healthy Immune System:

Physical:

Maintain a positive mental attitude. Research has shown that a positive mental attitude and having goals, plans, dreams, hope and faith result in a stronger immune system.

Stress is a major cause of a suppressed immune system. Learn to reduce it where possible and where not, manage it effectively.

Develop loving relationships with other people that build up your self worth.

Cry and let go of a loved one; grieve, feel your feelings. Learn to express anger constructively and in safe ways. People who suppress their feelings may be prone to having a hiatal hernia, which leads to digestive system breakdown and overall health challenges.

Keep educating yourself and ask questions.

Crisis Management: Healing Crisis or Disease?

As much as I teach prevention, let’s be realistic – there are times when people get sick, whether it is a disease crisis or a healing crisis. In this article, I will only briefly explain the differences:

  • A healing crisis may develop when one has shifted to a healthier lifestyle and has been feeling stronger and more energetic, then wham! One is hit suddenly with a cold, flu, diarhhea, fever or other kind of elimination. The body, as it gains energy, has started to houseclean. Properly managed, one can often get through a healing crisis within 24 hours.
  • A disease crisis is caused by a toxic overload and the body eventually has had enough, throws in the towel, and can’t take it anymore. This may present as a gradual decline in energy and “feeling something coming on”. This also should be able to pass very quickly, again, if properly managed.

Here are my recommendations for the basic management of both healing and disease crisis. For more detail, or if you do not feel improvement within 2 days of following these recommendations, consult with our office or another competent natural health practitioner.

1. Stop eating, working and pretending you can still do it all. The ads that state, “no cold is going to stop me – I take so and so drug, and keep right on going” is poor advice.

Your body is on overload – give it a break! LISTEN!

Eating requires energy for digestion and this energy could be better spent on cleaning your house (i.e. body), and getting rid of the accumulated toxins that have precipitated your crisis. You do not need food when you are sick – look at animals’ natural instincts. When your symptoms have improved and ONLY IF you feel hungry, eat only fruit or salad or raw vegetables, well chewed – easy to digest and nutritious.

Then proceed to other vegetables and light soups. Definitely nothing with flour, dairy, or animal protein until you are back to normal.

You need more rest – take it! Fresh air while sleeping will help oxygenate you.

2. Drink lots of clear fluids. My favourite is chlorophyll, which is an alkalizing alfalfa concentrate, full of vitamins and minerals. The one I prefer is flavoured with pleasant natural spearmint oil and can be consumed in copious quantities in cold or warm water, depending on what feels better to you. Other healthful beverages are: good quality herb teas, lemon or lime in water (if you MUST have it sweetened, try a bit of stevia, xylitol, agave or maple syrup), or organic juice mixed at least half and half with pure non-chlorinated, non-fluoridated water. See more herbal tea suggestions in #3.

3. Feed a fever: To speed up the cleaning process, there is nothing better than a mild fever. It’s like lighting a fire to burn the accumulated garbage, except this fire does not increase carbon emissions. If you do have a fever, great – your body is doing what it should. Just keep it controlled with plenty of fluids and rest. If fever gets too high, a tepid water bath can cool things off without stopping the healing benefits of the fever.

In critical situations, a tepid enema is the most effective way to bring a high fever down. Taking drugs to stop a fever defeat the body’s attempts at healing.

If you don’t have a fever, create one. Hydrotherapy is an effective way to do this. Drink several cups of hot herbal tea with any of the following stimulating herbs, which will help produce sweating: yarrow, mint, garlic, ginger or capsicum (medicinal grade cayenne pepper). Take this before and while soaking in a hot bath and sweat it out.

The addition of any of the following to the bath will help the process along: epsom salts, regular salt, or therapeutic quality essential oils (EOs). These will aid the process and offer additional relief for many symptoms. Some of my favourites are: Lavender, Tea Tree, Wild Oregano, Eucalyptus, and Pine, which we keep in stock.  I will choose based on the condition – I keep them ALL on hand for many uses. The EOs should be mixed first with salts or a biodegradable cleanser, like NSP Concentrate. This aids dispersion in the bath water. Do not overdo the hot bath to the point of exhaustion or dizziness.

After a soak of at least 20 minutes, take a cold shower or cold rinse (start with warm, then gradually go colder).  Then immediately, do not pass GO, dry off, get into cotton pyjamas or between cotton sheets, go to bed and put on lots of covers. You should sleep like a baby, sweat lots, and wake up feeling much better. It is beneficial to rinse off and get into clean clothes when you wake. This process can be repeated daily until you feel better.

4. Take anti-viral herbs, and enough of them to make a difference. Viruses cause colds and flus. Viruses do not respond to antibiotics. Anti viral herbs also speed healing for bacterial infections. The formula with which I have the most consistent results over the last 20+ years of practice is a Chinese formula called HRP-C. It helps detoxify the liver and support the immune system, so the whole body can cope in times of stress, which is exactly what a crisis is.

Other herbs and Chinese formulas can be added for particular challenges, but this general one helps most people heal faster. Always take full or double dose at the start of an illness – get the plane off the runway, or it won’t get to cruising altitude. Once you are feeling better, gradually decrease dosage.

TIPS BALANCE YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM

The immune system is more complicated than some of our other organ systems. For one thing, it isn’t located in just one area, or a few organs, like the digestive or urinary systems. It is throughout our body. It consists of several levels of defence.  Some of these are:

–        Mucous membranes, such as those lining the respiratory and intestinal tracts,  which form mechanical barriers to pathogens and other harmful invaders.

–        Skin with the acid mantle that inhibits bacterial growth

–        Cilia- tiny little hairs that trap and move contaminants to locations where they can be removed or destroyed

–        Gastric juices, such as HydroChloric (HCl )  Acid, which destroys pathogens in the stomach. A good example of this is that when we travel to tropical destinations where different bugs, such as dysentery, can cause whatever particular ailment is connected with that region, be it Mexican Montezuma’s Revenge, or Thailand Trots.

HCl Acid , such as is found in NSP’s full spectrum Digestive Enzymes, or Protein Digestive Aid, helps us to avoid these problems.As many people over the age of 20 years are deficient in HCl Acid, these supplements give the extra boost needed to kill of bugs that enter through food and water. –        Tears and saliva contain enzymes to destroy microorganisms.

These cells are vigilant for our health 24/7, comparable to our Department National Defence, except we don’t have to pay taxes to keep them going and updated! We don’t even need to give them orders, they figure it out for themselves when they are balanced. We do need to pay them in other ways though, if we expect them to carry out their functions effectively.

These are some of the essential things we can do to help them do their jobs.

1. Feed them properly. When we fill our bodies with wholesome food and pure water, our body can produce healthy cells. This means ensuring that our diet provides the complete myriad of vitamins, macro minerals, like Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium, trace minerals like Selenium, Chromium and about 74 others, amino acids, which are the building blocks that come from proteins, all the phytochemicals that science is just begun to identify such as lutein, xeanthanine, several hundred flavonoids, etc. etc. If this sounds all too complicated – it is! That’s why I personally don’t believe that scientists are ever going to be able to reproduce what nature has already provided us with – because they will never be able to do it in the same way! That’s why those of us who work in this field and with Nature’s Sunshine, all believe in the power of herbs and nutrition, which take care of providing us with this natural complex chemical cocktail.

Even though we may eat a healthy diet, full of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and legumes, we must understand that we may not get all the nutrients due to the fact that many of our growing soils have become depleted of minerals. This down time is when our body can focus energy on attacking invaders and building healthy new cells with the nourishment we just mentioned in #1. Recent studies show most  North Americans are chronically sleep deprived. Regular bed time hours, calming music or reading before bed, as opposed to stimulating TV shows, will help children and adults  fall into their refreshing slumberland more easily.

It is also important for everyone to have some free time, that is unscheduled time. With children especially, “daydreaming time” , where they don’t have to be at a lesson or scheduled lesson or activity, provides them with time to assimilate the lessons they are been given in life.

3. Third, exercise is essential for healthy immunity, because of the lymphatic system. This is another crucial part of the immune system. The lymphatic fluid is only moved through the action of muscular movements. Even 15 minutes of exercise increases oxygen flow and increases WBC cell in your blood!

In all aspects of natural healing, we need to look at balance. For the immune system this means building up or stimulating an under-active or weakened immune system OR, calming an over-active or stressed immune system.

Under-active or weakened  means your system does not mount an effect defence against invaders to which we are all exposed, every breathing moment of our lives. We can call these invaders by many different names: germs, bacteria, viruses, micro-organisms, fungi, parasites, yeasts, or pathogens.  For simplicity sake I am going to refer to all of the above as germs.

A critical point to understand is that it is not a matter of not being exposed to these germs when someone sneezes on us – it is fact that we are continuously exposed to germs. They are in our air, water, and food – they’re here, they’re there – they’re everywhere, as the saying goes! The important part is that our body’s immune system can effectively manage them, so they do not overwhelm us.

Think of germs as flies looking for something to eat – if they find it in our house (body) they stay – if they don’t they go looking for a house (body) where they will find some junk to eat. They are not the cause of the disease – they are the agent that is attracted to clean it up. So those runny noses, fevers, diarrhea, coughs, even vomiting are all attempts to rid the body of accumulated toxins.

4. Herbs can help in two ways: one is to keep the immune system strong, so it does not allow the germs to get the upper hand. Secondly, if the germs do start to do their work, herbs can aid them to do it faster , while making it more comfortable for us to get through the cleansing disease process.
