Candida, Cancer and Optimum Health Diet

This diet is an optimum diet for Candida, Cancer, Weight Maintenance and overall  health.

Lorene Benoit’s book:  The Paw Paw Program – The “Christopher Columbus” Approach to Cancer – The World IS Round and Cancer CAN Be Treated Naturally gives detailed  explanation of why this diet is so effective for your health!

Focus on feasting your body with nutritious choices!

1. GREEN LEAFY:

All leafy greens:  Beet, Kale, Chards, Collard, Spinach, Mustard, Endive, Turnip, Poke, all Lettuces except Iceberg, Water Cress, Sprouts: Alfalfa, Clover, Pea, Broccoli, Radish, etc., Parsley, Chives, Oregano, Chickweed,  and all other herbs

2. GREEN:

5. ROOT VEGETABLES:

Carrots, Rutabaga, Kohlrabi, Fresh Garlic, Onion, Beets, Radish, Yams, Sweet Potatoes, Jerusalem Artichoke

6. COMPLETE PROTEIN:

Eggs, Seafood, Meat, Poultry, Nuts and Seeds*

*Nuts and seeds are better digested, therefor  more nutritious if soaked overnight or almost to sprouting stage before eating.

7. OILS:

Cold Pressed Virgin Olive , Flax, Super Oil, Hemp, Coconut, Chia

8. DAIRY:

Butter, Cream, Whipped Cream

Many people who cannot handle dairy due to lactose intolerance can digest the fat of milk, so can have whipped cream, heavy cream or full fat yogurt; organic is preferable to avoid the hormones and antibiotics in regular dairy.

9. BEVERAGES:

Chlorophyll and Water, Super Shakes or Smoothies, (can be used as one meal replacement per day), Vegetable Broth

10. SALAD AND VEGETABLE DRESSING :

Fresh lemon or lime or pure, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar with cold pressed olive oil or other healthy oil is essential for EFAs.

– add garlic, onions, herbs & spices to create your own healthful homemade dressing/sauce

In Lorene Benoit’s book:  The Paw Paw Program – The “Christopher Columbus” Approach to Cancer – The World IS Round and Cancer CAN Be Treated Naturally, there is an excellent dressing, “Alain’s Green Goddess Dressing“, which can be used for salads,  vegetables, grains or meats.

In this book, the sugar, yeast, candida, fungus and cancer connection are all well explained. Extensive dietary recommendations are given to help people understand how to eat better. Recipes are included.

Eliminating sugar is critical to optimum health and prevention of all chronic conditions, diseases and early detection!

This fact is finally being recognized in forward thinking mainstream medicine, but has taken over 25 years to become accepted.

11. BEANS, PEAS, LEGUMES, PULSES AND GRAINS :

Persons who adhere to strict vegetarian diets may rotate these and take small portions from the following, to supplement lots of vegetables.

Adzuki, Soy Beans, Black-eyed Peas, Black Beans, Navy, Split Peas, Kidney, Pinto, Red Beans, Lentils, Garbanzo/Chick Pea, Buckwheat, Millet, Amaranth, Quinoa, Spelt, Brown Rice, Rye,  Yellow Cornmeal, Oat Groats, Triticale

AVOID :

All sugars, (honey, molasses, maple syrup, etc.) pickled food, fermented foods, alcohol, dairy products, processed foods, yeast, wheat flour products, rancid seeds, nuts or oils, coffee, and black tea.

UPGRADING YOUR DIET AND HEALTH:

Once you are comfortable with this healthier way of eating, you can begin to “upgrade” your diet gradually with the following considerations:

  • Variety  – a wide range of colors provides vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients – follow the Rainbow!
  • Choose the best quality you can afford – organic and local whenever feasible; ALWAYS avoid GMO
  • Choose Blood Type foods that are Beneficial or Neutral
  • Avoid foods to which you test sensitive or allergic
  • Adjust to seasons: in  summer  fresh fruit and vegetables are abundant; this lighter diet feels much better with the hot weather.  In the winter the diet can be heavier with more proteins and oils
  • Food combining helps efficient digestion. The basics are:

– eat protein  with non starchy vegetables OR

– legumes or grains with non starchy vegetables

– limit fruit to local, seasonal and fresh; eat alone or between meals

– the less different foods combined in one meal, the better.

A good general diet over a period of a day would contain six – ten low glycemic or low carbohydrate vegetables, one protein, and one grain, with two different fruits  between meals if desired.

Naturally processed salt provides trace minerals, and has none of deleterious effects of processed salt. This means land OR sea salt that is naturally sun dried, without chemicals or high heat, has none of the trace minerals removed, and will be close to 84% sodium chloride. From p. 215 in Lorene Benoit’s book, The Paw Paw Program :

Table salt has chemicals added to make it white in colour, and to flow. Better alternatives are Bragg’s Aminos or natural salt, whether it comes from the land or the sea. It is the processing that makes salt unhealthy. Healthy (unprocessed) salt will contain 84 – 86% Sodium Chloride (NaCl) and the rest will be minerals, including Magnesium, which is deficient in North American diets. Compare this to processed salt, which is usually 98-99% NaCl, because the minerals have been removed (to be sold, leaving you with the low cost leftovers).

To understand Candida better, please read: Candida Albicans/Yeast Infections. For Candida, cancer, any serious health condition, and optimum health, this diet is critical, as well as supplementation. Even with the best possible diet, daily needs can rarely be met with food alone.
