Cataracts occur on the second level underneath the outer lens. Cataracts cloud your vision, distort your view, and make it difficult to read and focus. They cannot be helped with glasses.

I am having cataract surgery and have been taking two tsp. 2x a day and have also been spraying my eyes for quite some time. I really do not like anti-biotics. Can I use Silver- sol solution instead of VIGAMOX. MY surgery is scheduled for Wed. morning Nov.6th.
I am prescribed to take for a total of 11 days which includes 3 days prior to surgery, along with Ketorolac and Prednisolene after surgery for 2 weeks. Absolutely, the Silver will be more effective than any antibiotic. I also believe that it is as good as the prednisone for any inflammation, but an ophthalmologist will not likely agree.
I had a serious eye injury with a baseball a few years ago – several layers of stitches; slight damage to iris and minor internal bleeding. They wanted me on drops, plus said it would take a month or more to heal and for bruising to disappear. I used both Silver Guard in the eye and Silver Gel all around the injured area. Just wanted to check to see if I understand that saliva can dissolve cataracts? How much and how do you get it into the eye? Won’t it hurt the rest of the eye?

Yes, I have heard this – based on the expression;”here’s spit in your eye”. As I use Silver solution and eye nutrition to work with cataracts, I do not have a lot of research on this, but as I recall from 30+ years ago, saliva is thought to be beneficial as the enzymes it contains will dissolve some of the minerals or other deposits that may cloud the lens. And no, I cannot see any problem to other parts of the eye, as saliva also has great moistening properties – good if you get something in your eye and have nothing else with which to help wash it out.

I have Nuclear Sclerosis Cataract – Grade III in Left Eye. Just want to know if I can be cured of Cataract in 5-6 months, Will there be Reduction/Melting of the Cataracts or it can only be halted. The reason why I am curious is that. I had gone for Cataract surgery of Right Eye in 2014, but my Retina Dettached and I had to rush for Retinal Surgery on emergency basis. I am sorry, but no natural practitioner, nor medical doctor can accurately predict how quickly any one will heal. Doctors tend to make guesses that often become self fulfilling prophesies; I prefer not to do that, as so much depends on the person and their circumstances. I am also not an expert in cataract surgery.
Has the doctor who performed your first surgery given you any reason for the retinal detachment of first surgery? Have you asked for the report to determine if it was error or just a coincidence? Has he/she commented on your left eye? Are you able to have a second opinion?
I can certainly understand your hesitancy at repeating the surgery in your remaining good eye, but without a bit more of a history and background, I do not feel qualified to answer; other than with the following general suggestions.
